In this assignment Mrs. Seale wanted us to read Myhtology (Greek Mythology). She wanted us to discover and learn about the Greek Goddess. After a few weeks or so, we had an graph to fill out about who we thought people were and how we know who the person is. Even we learned who each goddess was known for and who there personality is. I recently read Eclipse by Stephanie Meyers. The main characters of this Eclipse is Bella, Edward, Jasper, Alice, Emmett, Rosalie, Caralisle, Esme, Jacob, Billy, and Charlie. They play breathtaking roles in the book that are dangerous. This books main idea is a love story between Bella and Edward which Edward is a vampire.
Some events that happen in Eclipse that are eye-opening are: 1st When Victoria (bad vampire) tries to kill Bella because Edward killed her soul mate James. So she wants to kill his soul mate to make him miserable like her. Most of the werewolves have to protect Bella from the Victoria that has at least one of the newly vampires watching her every second. Victoria sends some other newly vampires to smell Bella’s scent so they can go track her down. Only with one exception and that would be when Edward is not around her and of course he always. Until the major fight that Edward’s family had on the field with the newly vampires, well he had to leave her because his family needed help. So when Edward left it took Victoria awhile to get there to the opening but she did. Victoria knew that Edward would come to Bella’s safety its an instinct to him.
Another important part that made me think was when when Bella had feelings for Jacob and Edward. Bella always thought that she would never have feelings so strong for Jacob. After that long and romantic kiss Bella gave Jacob which he loved the kiss. It made her think more about Jacob than she has ever figured about him. I really wanted to stop reading after I read this part because it just destroyed my thought about this book. It makes her look like a cheater and someone that loves two people while already almost engaged. I thought to myself that Edward did not deserve that he loved her to much.
This book made me realize that you better think before you act because many decisions were made in the book that were wrong. My opinion about Jacob is, he should have just let Edward and Bella be together because they are meant to be unlike Jacob and Bella.
